9/3-9/5/17- We had a nice, relaxing weekend which I think we all needed. We laughed a lot, which was definitely needed. Baylor keeps us in stitches these days. He spent a good part of the weekend with a blanket over his head pretending to be a ghost. HE “woooo ooooo I’m a scary ghost!” and then jumps out at us to yell “SURPRISE!!!!!” He made a noodle in the shape of a yellow submarine and was SO proud of it. He made me take a picture and was pretty upset when we had to flush it. He wasn’t wrong though. That thing was an exact replica of a yellow submarine (I have more detailed photographic evidence of it if anybody is interested 🤣). I didn’t even know that was possible.
We’ve started attending storytime at the library on Tuesdays. It’s a 30 minute program and I’ve been really impressed with it. We start out with a couple of songs with movements, then alternate books and songs until we make our way through 3 books of the same theme. This week the theme was farm animals. Baylor pretty much refused to join in the first time we went, but now he joins right in and loves it!
