6/21-6/23/17- Nona and Papa have left and “real life” is starting in our new house! Daddy has had to be at a training a few days this week, so it’s been up to me and Baylor to continue the million errands we have to do. It’s been pretty fun though- he really seems to enjoy shopping when we take it slow and he can help. He especially loves our Costco dates and those long days where we’re in and out of the car a ton and Mommy declares we need a break at Chick-fil-a to cool off with some lemonade and run some energy out.I asked Baylor the other day if he wanted to go to Costco. He said “Yes! Costco!” I got him dressed and we started heading down the stairs and he said “I take my penis to Costco?” Well…. it caught me off guard so I started laughing. So he spent the entire trip saying “I take my penis to Costco!! And “Costco penis!” Oops.
Daddy did find some time to meet us at the playground- our new neighborhood has one just around the corner! And Baylor already met a new friend, Emory, whose babysitter lives just 2 doors down from us. Baylor seemed to really like everything the new playground had to offer- especially the airplane!! He even slid down the slide with me!
We’ve started shopping for some of Baylor’s school supplies. He is SO excited about going to school and we’ve started the countdown! We found some water bottles that he just HAD to have. And I stumbled upon a ROBOT BACKPACK!!!!! while I was shopping for something completely different- it was obviously meant to be his. He was SO EXCITED when he got it. He wore it around the house all evening (and got out the remote control for the kitchen lights to serve as his cell phone. He immediately started “calling people” as soon as he got it on. You could tell he just felt so cool and grown up.
Baylor has discovered our fancy new lights and loves to talk to Google and make them change colors. He’s spent a long time in the living room on his back watching the light show haha!
