5/28-6/11/17- Ready, set, switch gears!! Baylor is staying with Nona and Papa the next two weeks, so Michael and I said goodbye (it took me a minute, but he was happy as a lark to stay with them) and high tailed it back to Louisville. We had less than 48 hours before the movers would be there and there was quite a bit left to do! We packed and organized and cleaned and arranged and somehow it all got done. The movers showed up, got the stuff loaded, unloaded the next day, and now the unpacking marathon has begun. What’s longer than a marathon? Is a triathlon longer? Maybe this is an unpacking triathlon. Ugh. But, we’re making good progress. On the 12th, we made our very own kitchen table! It was a big job, but we had a lot of fun and I think it turned out pretty well! We’ve bought living room furniture, a big honking tv, unpacked a ton of boxes, started on some basic decorations, and are starting to get to the point of at least being functional in the house. My goal is to have Baylor’s bedroom and playroom completely done by the time he gets here. It’s looking like that will probably be a feasible goal, although I’m not sure how much we’ll be able to get done on the rest of the house. It’s slow going- things always seem to take longer than you think they will- but we’re making progress!
