11/25/16- Tressie and I woke up bright and early to go shopping in Lafayette. We found some great deals!! Then we meet up with Maci, Grandma, Gigi, and Aunt Lori for lunch and a little more shopping in Kokomo.
While we were gone, Grandpa, Daddy, and Baylor went for a guy’s day. they ate lunch at Hacienda and took Baylor to see his first movie- Moana, the new Disney movie about Hawaii. According to Daddy, he was totally mesmerized and sat through the whole movie! It definitely helped that it had lots of musical numbers. I wish I could have been there to see him enjoy it, but I’m so glad that Daddy got to have one of his “firsts” for once. Introducing your kid to something new that you know they’ll love is such a great feeling- I’m glad Daddy got to have that all to himself for a little while.
That evening, we had Baylor’s birthday party!!!! Everyone came, including Paul and Aunt Bonnie. We ate the yummy ice cream cake Grandma got from Dairy Queen. Then we opened presents!! Baylor got a really cool grocery store set: a stand, cash register, grocery cart, and pretend food. He LOVED it. Oh my goodness- he couldn’t decide whether pushing the cart of food or putting coins in the cash register was more fun so he just went back and forth between the two of them for the rest of the night. He was SO sad to have to go to bed tonight, but he’ll sleep well!!
