10/4-10/6/17- Nona and Papa wanted to take Baylor to an Auburn game for his birthday, and due to Auburn’s schedule, this was the closest time we could find. Which was just fine! The weather is pretty good and it was a morning game, which was really nice so we weren’t having to fight Baylor’s bedtime. We drove to Tennessee on Wednesday and spent Thursday just hanging out at home. That’s Baylor’s favorite thing anyway. Baylor came with an agenda and was pretty insistent on accomplishing ALL of the things he normally does while he is there in the 3 hours between when we arrived and bedtime. On his to do list was: eat some yogurt (literally the first thing he said to Papa when we walked in the door), check the mailbox, play coin sort, talk to Siri, play with every toy he “owns” there, play piano, play coin sort, check out Nene’s music boxes, play banjo, “work” on Papa’s computer, look in Nona’s makeup mirror, and many more things I’m probably forgetting. Fortunately, he had all of Thursday to check the boxes he didn’t get to on Wednesday evening. On Friday morning, we headed to Auburn, but not before Nona introduced Baylor to his new BFF, Aubie. Baylor isn’t usually a big fan of stuffed animals, but Aubie has proven to be an exception and Aubie accompanied us everywhere on our trip.
